Loandepot is a waste of time. Endless waits, loan officers changed randomly, repeated requests to submit the same information already previously submitted. After several months of this, I was finally approved but they wanted me to agree to an extra $32,000 of debt to them for a mortgage of $165K. This was about $30,000 more dollars than they told me it would be, and obviously a scam to get the unsuspecting to go into greater debt. Loan process was easy. This was my 2nd loan with LoanDepot and everything went smooth. The ease of uploading the documents needed for the process was easy and the website was easy to keep track of the loan as it processed thru. Only small negative we would have rather had an option for direct deposit for the cash out.

We were referred to ***** ****** of LoanDepot by a realtor friend of ours. We are beyond pleased. Applying for a loan is not always the easiest.. ***** guided us through the whole process. When there was an issue, ***** promptly dealt with it and kept in communication with us at all times. We were able to close on time. The loan officer didnt communicate much or effectively, he didn't explain all there Substantial amount of Originating **** To many **** makes the rates so not attractive... they make their profit back up in points and over exaggerated **** ..They had 6 fees alone associated with Just the Title process on a Refinance loan totaling 30 fees..********** "

I put in an inquiry with lending tree on Friday. It is now Monday and since Friday I have received 9 calls from Loan Depot. I only answered on the last call to tell them to stop calling me. This practice needs changed. If someone doesn't answer when you call, don't keep calling them multiple times a day. Borderline harassment. "
