If could put a star below 0 would. Had loan here years ago, was ok, sold loan after year. This time not good, please ******. Decided refinance. **** ******* was so nice. . Closing cash out way below what said. Fought for what it should have been. Won. **** ******* said don't worry you'll be customer for life with us. HA! HA! Closed. Welcome pkg. I did a refi with them and amazingly it went great. There was a slight bobble at the end, but they recovered and fixed the problem immediately.

we refi'd from 1 loan depot loan to another loan depot for a better rate. we were told our loan was funded and loan origination said the money was wired. we made our 1st payment. all good. then we rec'd notice that we had failed to make the last 2 payments on the old loan and owed late fees. what? then we got a refund for the 1st payment we made on our new loan. i've talked to a dozen people at loan depot. no one will tell us what happened or what is happening. "

The only part of this process that I feel went smoothly was the appraisal. It is my understanding that interest rates went up while my loan was pending and that fees were added to my loan as interest rates increased. I felt I had the choice of walking away and losing the low interest rate I had locked or pay the additional fees that were added. I am extremely dissatisfied with Loan Depot.
