This company needs to change the way they process loans. I had to pay for my home appraisal and upload all documents. I have excellent credit and a stable job. Loan Depot denied my loan based on they couldn't verify my address which has been established for 43 years. The appraisal lady and my friends have no problem searching and finding the house. They also said I needed a full house appraisal. My wife has a valuable Elvis collection and didn't want anyone taking pics of the inside of the house. The loan officer ***** *****... read more

2nd **** and re-finance process went smoothly and quickly! Better educational breakdown and great communication with loan officers than the first go round. Payment portal is great and easy. Would recommend to friends.

I was told I could get a 15 year at 1.875 with very little costs and it sounded too good to be true. Well a couple days before closing after waiting over 4 weeks I get a call telling me that loan won't work any more but we can give you a 20 year loan at 2.25. Nice try on the bait and switch, but I'll go with a different lender. "

This was the easiest and best experience I EVER had with regards to any type of financing, and I'm very grateful to the entire team. My interaction with loanDepot started when I was not 100% sure about refinancing, I was just shopping around. It was my first time refinancing a home so I did not know how it worked and Julian took the time to educate me and help me to understand and be at ease with the whole process. This company is a nightmare. ****** read reviews from actual customers. You will notice a consistent trend. Loan Depot is leading consumers on with promises of great rates but when they finally approach closing- which is many months later, the terms change. They are creating nightmares for untold numbers of people. The BBB really needs to get this company under a microscope and look at what all these consumers ate saying. It is true.
