Better get a 6-month escrow! LoanDepot = great rates, loooonnnggg closing times.My loan got stuck in underwriting for 3 months, with no information or status updates. Occasionally they would ask for additional information, which was typically redundant with information I had already provided, or completely nonsensical.

I politely asked a rep at this company to remove me from their mailing list. The person hung up on me. I called again and the same rep answered and said I would need to do this online. However, their marketing letter clearly states that you can opt out of promotions by mailing or by calling. If they are dishonest with such a simple thing, how can they be trusted being honest, clear and transparent with regards to the "fine print" involved in loans and lending.
