It took nearly 6 months to close my loan with LoanDepot. Communication was inconsistent and our loan was handed over to different admins repeatedly which made the process long and difficult. Now 6 months after the loan has closed they have missed two property tax payments. I have emailed and called 7 times over a six week period to have the situation rectified- all to no avail. the whole process from start to finish could not have been any easier, from the initial conversation with the loan officer to the signing of the final papers was seamless. Initial conversation took placed on the 12th of July and closed on the 30th of July with all funds disbursed on the 3rd of August. That is 21 days from start to finish. Each and every step was met head on with an easy to follow walk through of what needed to be done by various people under the employ of Loan Depot...... All of the people at Loan Depot were super helpful. They expedited the process because they knew I needed the money in order to purchase another home.
