Loan Depot was awesome. They navigated the process of refinancing my mortgage over only a few weeks. They communicated status very well and were innovative in getting around the few obstacles that popped up. I got a good deal and I feel like they went out of their way to take care of me.

Terrible. Their loan was the lowest cost on paper. But, there were errors throughout the process, even at closing. AND both the loan rep and the senior loan officer assured me that Loan Depot does not sell their loans - I asked, we discussed it at length. THAT IS A LIE. THEY DO! They sold mine to CENLAR which gets abysmal reviews on WalletHub. Don't trust Loan Depot.

High pressure sales was told essentially I'm not a man because I said I needed to discuss with wife, manager of customer retention absolutely ignored complaint and gave sales pitch. Was told they want to make sure to keep me as a customer but said I had to shop their rates against competitors before they gave me best rate/deal. Manager would make appointments to discuss but never called and made excuses why they couldn't call. Terrible company, would not recommend.
