I worked with 2 loan representatives and both were excellent. Personal communications, no robot calls. It did take longer than I thought and so much info was needed. Also I was waiting to send in my review because I was told that I would skip a payment and I was waiting to see if I'd get a **** for August. I got it today and so there was no skipped payment but otherwise Loan Depot was great.

My closing took three tries. The paperwork was still not correct, with spelling errors and wrong dates. I was told I overpaid on closing costs and was due a refund which I have yet to receive. My insurance company said they have not been paid. My girl will not return my call. Not happy at all.

As someone who has gone through numerous residential loans, loanDepot is absolutely the WORST of the lenders I have dealt with. The *********** Manager assigned to me was utterly incompetent, ignorant and untruthful, blaming her team member for her own laziness, ignorance, and arrogance for failing to know her company's lending rules.
