After having a bad experience with another vendor professing special handling and rates for a VA Refinance, I chose LoanDepot as itt was rated in the top 5 lending institutions. My loan team more than lived up to my expectations. The loan was completed in the most timely manner of any I have ever applied for. I got better terms and a better percentage rate than others had promised they would provide. All in All I am very pleased with the friendliness and professionalism received from my tema at LoanDepot.

This mortgage lending process was easily one of the worst experiences of my life. It was easier for me to be pregnant and give birth than this. I say that with no hyperbole. At first, the loan officer was very convincing that he could get me a great deal, and he was easy to talk to, and very responsive. Then once underwriting took over, the condescension was unconscionable. I don't know if underwriting is supposed to be an exercise in humiliation, or if the whole thing was just poorly managed. LoanDepot would of received 5 stars if it was not for the Senior Account Manager ***************************. She was rude and never answer her messages. When I was finally able to get ahold of her, she flat out said that she does not have time to answer my calls. This happen often. She was not clear when she spoke, she made several mistakes. While many parts of my loan were straight forward, others were not, and the Loan Directors at Loan Depot were absolutely wonderful to work with to navigate the circumstances which were a challenge. I will definitely finance my next home with Loan Depot!
