I contacted loan depot about a refi. Did not find what I was looking for. Now they keep calling and texting . I asked numerous times to have my name removed from their data base but it goes no deft ears.

When the initial call came in it seemed like they were very friendly and professional. That took a turn for the worst. Promised a callback and never did get that callback. Provided me a number to text or call, he never responded. I spent almost 2 hours trying to get ahold of him thru customer service. Worst service ever, same service as well!!! I had the worst experience in all of the refinancing that Ive done. On my two loans they changed the appraisal company two times and made me pay twice, took them 7 days to refund me my payment. The other time they made me pay $750 and told me they couldnt find an appraiser and I had to pay $970 and made me pay again. I had to notify my tenants twice and that was a big hassle and from a consumer perspective I feel like I have no say because every time you put a new appraisal that cost me more money.

Responses are very slow and not prompt. Doesn't look like they are not on top of my application. Rather I need to drive it.

I've worked with LoanDepot before and really appreciated their professionalism. I was so glad to be able to work with them again and look forward to continuing that relationship. Very knowledgeable, professional, empathetic, enthusiastic, personable, and quite thorough. We applied for a refinancing to finish our home. We have more than enough equity in our home and we were denied a loan based on our unfinish bathroom. It took them 3 months to tell us they wont refinance with us. We are also out the fees they charged us $500.00.Beware of the company.
