BAIT & SWITCH COMPANY I thought that I was working with a wonderful company until LoanDepot tried an incredible bait and switch. **** ******* promised me the rate and closing cost. He pulled my credit report and asked me to fill application (while keep promising me the rate + closing cost). I asked him to provide paperworks with the rate + closing cost that he promised, but he could not. It wasted my time, my money, and importantly, my credit report was pulled. This is a very bad experience. You should not promise if you are not sure you can do it, period.

From the very beginning things proceeded closely to what my loan officer had explained. Quick approval. During the few weeks any minor adjustments or additional forms were addressed quickly which I also responded quickly.
