This was my second refinance in the past three years. The first was OK - required my filling and sending a lot of paperwork. With LoadDepot the same goal was accomplished much quicker, with little paperwork to send, and most of the procedures were handled online requiring little input from me.

Underwriters did not appear to have experience necessary to request specific information at one time and repeatedly asked for pieces of info instead of specifically asked for the entire document that was needed. Had 3 loan rate locks due to ineptitude. Very disappointing to have to continue provide the same information repeatedly because what was desired was not asked for the 1st 2 times. we were looking to refinance our house (for the 2nd time) to access low interest rates. Found loandepot from online search of recommended places. The underwriting team created lot of unwarranted issues for us and delayed the closing of our home by full 1 month. We had 800+ credit scores and solid job with W2 income in 150K+ - the issues were not related to anything related to that. The loan processing and underwriting team just disappeared for 3+ weeks and then asked us for an extra plumbing inspection cause the appraiser saw a small dark spot in the basement ceiling and mentioned that in the appraisal report.
