Worst company ever, and forget about getting your appraisal money you paid it's non-refundable which is not told to you by there loan representative. They are all nice to get you sign up run your credit and build your hopes up and basically mislead you and the communication goes dead silence once they get you where they want you. You waste your time sending paper work in and then they still keep asking for the same paper work. this is a ridiculous company, they basically s**** you out of 500 appraisal, tell you some nonsense... read more

At closing, our attorney pointed out that our monthly payments were incorrectly calculated due to an incorrect escrow amount. We cancelled our refinance since their error would end up not saving us anything on our monthly mortgage payment. However, they refused to reimburse us any fees (appraisal, credit report) even though they were presenting us a false monthly mortgage payment. The customer service after that was abysmal. The loan Depot loan officer got my SSN from lending tree and performed a hard inquiry without asking my permission to run my credit. I wasnt even interested in the cash out refi he was trying to sell my on. I was on lending tree looking for HELOC rates. I started getting notifications while on the phone with him that I had a new inquiry on my credit report. I asked if he ran my credit and he said yes and he assumed it was ok.
