You people are terrible! All you care about is running a persons credit! I told the person on the line I did not want to run my credit at all unless he was sure based on the info I gave him that I would be approved for a conventional loan and get rid of my pmi insurance and get away from a fha loan. Hello! My husband and I applied for a refinance with LoanDepot back in July 2021. In the beginning, we were getting great responses from *** (loan officer) but when our loan went to processing, ********* (loan processor) called and introduced herself as our processor and said she would keep us updated on the process of our loan. ******** was a really nice person to work with, but this process seemed a bit like a bait and switch to run my credit and get me "hooked" since the initial quote was based on an escrow that was way too low... like $1000/mo too low- so it looked like any option was going to equate to a significantly lower payment. Magically the lower escrow payment equated to a cash to close maxing out the 36 mo recoup mandate for the VA IRRL.... Weird, eh? Loan Depot reps are unhelpful, rude and snippy. Web site support is UNsupportive. I was looking for the telephone number for Loan Depot on their web site. I had to ****** the number. The rep. did not know anything about the web site and transferred me to "web site support."
