I was fleeced for $495 for an appraisal fee after cancelling my loan two days into the process. Never told this was a non- refundable fee. I dont feel loan depot is dealing honestly with customers and I would not recommend anyone enter any kind of arrangement with them. Very disheartening and dishonest

I had 2 previous loans with Loan Depot that were fine. About 2 months ago I took a new loan for a purchase. Worst experience. I have never been treated with so much disrespect. I ended up paying few thousands dollars extra for a rate extension (when the rates in reality did not change) unethical
