My husband and I came here today to watch a presentation with the promise that we would receive a 100% paid for rountrip flight to Hawaii as well as our hotel paid for. We were told upon arrival that the presentation would take no longer than 2 hours. We were already considering purchasing a time share so we were pretty eager to learn. I am a new sucker. Should have read the posts here. All those complaints below are so true. They hired a bunch of people and brainwash them to suck money out of you, not interested in any of your concerns. All they said is how you want to pay them fees. credit card, payment plans, etc... horrible company

After filing a complaint case number 13474034 on Mar 28 against Welk resort Escondido by Helen Otaguro, Arne Ellis of Owner Services Welk resort called Helen Otaguro stating Welk resort was willing to concede and refund the maintenance fee of approximately $900 for this year to resolve this case. Buyers beware, Customer service at Finance department is just awful. I had been trying to get some answers from them for months but all they could talk about was due dates and late fees if I didn't pay my VOA's. Welk was hacked last year and first time I spoke to finance rep, she didn't know what I was talking about. I had to e-mail letter informing me of such hack. I would give them 0 stars if I could. We put down a deposit with them for a hotel stay and resort tour over a month in advance. They cancelled on us two days prior and told us they didn’t have another availability until June. Our stay was supposed to be a ski weekend so June doesn’t help at all. We are extremely disappointed. This company is a scam.

Welk Resort is run by crooks They con you into buying shares and if you can’t afford what they are seeking they tell you someone just sold us our shares back and we can sell to you for even cheaper You are better off joking a rewards program with a hotel group or doing a timeshare with one of them also. It has done nothing busy sucked my money from me Also they charge you 2000 on top of what you pay them for thenpints every year for mantanence. Lawrence W*** Resorts have gone way downhill from what they used to be. Clearly, someone at the top doesn't give a s-i- about the Owners. Money! Money! Money! is all they care about now. I was very happy on my old program with my paid for Platinum Membership upgrade with Interval. I mostly traded out to ********** all over the Country and since I had excellent trading power (I paid a LOT for my Timeshare) I usually got what I wanted. Received a late fee for a maintenance bill I never received that was addressed to my late husband. Call to speak to the manager/supervisor to resolve the issue and get the late fees removed due to the fact that it was still addressed to my late husband and explain that I never received the bill. They told me unfortunately we can't do anything about the situation and there's no way to reverse it besides certain circumstances. We made the first purchase in 2011 with the hopes of having family vacations in different locations around the world. We were hounded to upgrade twice by relentless sales reps over the phone, much to our disappointment.
