I don’t know what I was thinking when I got this timeshare I should have known better plz make it go away.. where can I sell it or how can I get out of it plz help
Welks resorts has been avoiding and neglecting my request to return my timeshare. They are scamming senior citizens everyday and no one is doing anything to help us
I went for a sales pitch for the timeshare offering. The sales person, Pamela, was inappropriate in two very distinct ways: 1. She stared at my chest and my friend’s chest more than she looked us in the eye. 2. When we decided not to move forward with the sale, she said, “you shouldn’t come to these things if you’re not ready to sign.” Not all customers are going to buy what is being sold. She obviously isn’t aware of a consumer’s right to choose.
Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this timeshare group. They have smooth talking, sharp-looking sales people that share their wonderful stories about traveling the world, their families, meeting different people, and beautiful places you HAVE to go see once you pay your timeshare. Not only that, they offer you "free" airfare as gifts to convince you to buy a timeshare. It is a total scam. This has been the worst experience with a company I have ever encountered they misrepresent to the fullest I signed up for a auditions membership and needless to say I will not renew to a full membership. The phone associates are the worst and rudest people I have ever encountered they act like they are doing me a damn favor when I call in. When we bought timeshare from Welk was told they would buy it back if we needed to sell it ! Salesman apparently lied to us
We purchased a timeshare membership through Welk resorts, but when we went to use it, despite advertisements of time available, there was no availability. When we attempted to use the exchange program, there was also no availability for the time frame or locations of interest. We discovered that the resale value was little to none, and accomodations are available online without membership investment at similar rates to the "maintenance fees". I will start with the day my wife and I signed on the dotted line (one of the worst mistakes we have ever made). December of 2016, we attended a seminar in Escondido. After the seminar we met with the rep and we were genuinely interested. We said to ourselves, if they have something close to our where we live, then we would get purchase the timeshare. When My wife and I purchased into the Welk Resort properties, it was with the understanding that they were taking two other timeshare weeks that we owned off our hands. All we had to do was fill out some paperwork and pay a fee for the transfer costs. This was a lie. In reality, they, through another company, attempted to sell out other weeks.
