Welk Resorts is such an unethical company that I am surprised that it’s employees can sleep at night . I am sure that Lawrence Welk is rolling over in his grave knowing that a company he started is defrauding people. We attended a timeshare presentation in Branson that lasted 5.5 hours after which they convinced us to purchase 240,000 points. During this presentation we were fed many lies. Well... I can tell you that I firmly believe Owners bonus rates are a compete LIE. They should be sued based off selling a product they don't even have. Absolutely NO ONE over the phone can help you. Its a complete circus when you try and get answers. All they will say is that they understand your frustration. Its been a year and my plan is to use my points only though welks and hope that its worth it in the long run (doubtful). This is not a FAMILY company like they said. I did not feel like family, I felt like a step child. I will never do business with them and tell my real family and friends not to either. They are careless.

We became aware of Welk resorts because we have Magic Mountain season passes unfortunately we have decided to cancel our season passes at Magic Mountain because of Welk. We were never given what was promised by Welk and I personally spent days and hours on the phone or online fighting for what I know now to be a scam. We are greatly dissatisfied with Welk as well as Magic Mountain for allowing Welk to solicit my family with unfulfilled promises.

During the "Sales Pitch the keep saying the are A+++ rated with the BBB. Well turns out the are only A+ and not sure how they are above a B truthfully. They use hard sale tactics and then make it almost impossible to get what was promised for sitting threw "90" minutes of presentation. You should really plan for 2.5+ hours. How How How do they have 1 positive review and 27 negative and still get a A+? Must be A+ for effort :( I expected better! I cant believe it. Its been 1 year and I still haven't got my Hawaii trip as they premised. I paid $140. Don't waist your time and money with this company.

I paid thousands of dollars in never stayed here due to false information about how it works... run away from their sales people and run fast.

I am fully aware of the fact that I don't own a Timeshare with Welk. However, I spent the time to sit through the presentation. I've been trying to get in contact with someone from the gifting department for over a month and a half on a time sensitive matter. I'm aware that the answer may be no, and that's fine. What I don't appreciate is the lack of response and respect. For my time, I can't get a response to an email or a voicemail, and trust, I've left several. This just reinforces why I didn't buy the timeshare. Terrible... read more

I would likeep to say that this companythat says there are family oriented is a lie. I had booked a trip to lake tahoe and the power when out the second day we were there. No one from the staff informed us about what was happening or going on. We lost power for 12 hours and the time we were there was snow season. So imagine you stuff on the resort and you had to wear your snow gear in you room because the power was out and you couldn'tus the heater. Also we couldn't go out and get food because of the weather.
