Much like other reviews I am reading, I have to say that this business is a scam. Wish I would have checked here first before going to the presentation in Branson. After four hours of wasted time (at a 120 minute presentation) we finally agreed to try the audition membership, which would allow us access to the Welk vacation experience for one year before agreeing to buy. **This is the worst way to throw away your money.** It is time share. Do not let them lie to you and say it isn't. There are so many stipulations and time constraints and booking issues that you will run into, and will not allow you to enjoy a vacation (or planning a vacation) with this company. PLEASE make sure you do your research and DO NOT get sucked into this nightmare! They will NOT buy back your points. BUYERS BEWARE!! Unfortunately we were scammed into buying into this time share and it has proven to be the biggest mistake of our lives! I am writing this review and will be writing similar reviews on every social media website I can to try and warn people to stay as far away from ownership in Welk Resorts as possible. I was laid off in Sept 2015. I was still making payments on a timeshare i have never used. I called Welk trying to make some type of arrangement. They said there was nothing that they could do for me. I paid as much as i could. Finally, Aug 2016, still unemployed, they called my land lord. Elsa told me there were no notes concerning me being unemployed. Had agreed to attend a "120" minute meeting at the Branson Properties in exchange for reimbursement (by Branson tourism) for the most expensive amusement we attended while at Branson. We were assured it would not be a high pressure event. We attended what eventually turned out to be a 3-hour event, even after we reminded them they had gone significantly over time. This company is a disgrace and shouldn't be allowed to scam people. My fiancé and I bought a trial package for 30 trips. We went online to apply for our honeymoon. We then got a letter in the mail saying we would find out 20 days prior to the trip if we got it. We were never told this when we signed up for the package and it is also not listed in the contract.
