The family and I are all Colorado natives who love Estes Park and have always loved the history behind the Stanely. After years of talking about it we finally went this weekend! We took a tour which is totally worth it if you are staying for the history. We had an INCREDIBLE meal at the restaurant (be sure to make a reservation) and say the "Illusions of the Passed" show put on by Aidan Sinclair, it was amazing! Would highly recommend all. We had a blast and I'm sure your family will too

A beautiful hotel! Friendly and courteous staff. Every turn and view is a "Kodak" moment/picture. Only negative observation, more obvious to a military person, are the tattered and torn US flags flying out front. Please consider replacing the flags as soon as possible to show proper respect. Thank you

I highly recommend the Stanley Hotel daytime tour. It is well worth the money. Lillian our tour guide was awesome. The 1 1/2 hour tour was entertaining and very informative.

The customer service here is excellent and the hotel is gorgeous! Like some of the others have said, the main hotel’s rooms are, quite historic. Be prepared for amenities in the rooms that would fit an historic feel. If you have a family w little ones, you might consider one of the other properties on site like Aspire

It was Katya's first tour and she did an awesome job with a little help from her sidekick, Mary. I brought my mom along and they took good care of her with offering seating and elevator usage along the way. We will be back for the spooky night tour with great expectations!!!

Staying at the Stanley was always on our bucket list. The area its self is so beautiful. Morris of hotel staff did everything to make us feel welcome. Our room , wow 1/4 of dust under the beds, bathroom floor was sticky, had to call the desk for TP. When the front desk was told of those cleaning issues upon checkout we were told that management does not buy the proper cleaning equipment. Let Morris teach the front desk how to take care of guest.
