Our tour guide Kira was very knowledgeability and kept it interesting/entertaining. Great history in this hotel with great stories.....and of course room 217.
I had an awesome time with the Stanley Hotel, when I got there in my room was a beautiful Birthday Banner hanging on the wall over the bed , I felt special. My friend and I had a great time, we took the tour and loved our tour guide, worth taking ! I will love the memory’s. And I must say we saw a lot of things that happen to us , experience it for yourself, you want be disappointed.
Staying at the Stanley is an event. As you walk up the steps to the lobby you are transported back in time. It’s like no other hotel. It’s rich in history and elaborate architecture. I would recommend a tour so you can learn the fascinating history. My room was small but well appointed. Linens were fresh and the bathroom glistened. They have kept the old charm of this historical building, so don’t expect granite counters. Breakfast in the cascade restaurant was lovely. Very attentive staff. And the gift shop is one of a kind... read more
Such a great tour and wonderful experience. Love music with great food and drink. Definitely a must see
Loved the hotel, staff friendly. Love the history behind it. Can’t wait to return when the hedge are taller on the maze😱
Stopped at the Stanley Hotel for breakfast before heading to Rocky Mountain National Park. Ate at the Cascades and breakfast was very tasty. Looked around the shop and purchased a book and a magnet. Took some pictures out front and walked around the hedge maze. I guess I don't realize how much smaller this place is than I expected. From the looks, it seems very old and dated. It wouldn't be somewhere I would stay the night, but it was a lovely little visit for what we did.
Had lunch and took the daytime tour. My wife is a huge Stephen King fan and has wanted to see this forever. Enjoyed the tour and the history of the place. Not sure I'd pay the price for the rooms after seeing some of them on the tour.
Very cool place and great tour!
