I have lived here for one year and it was good. I liked the 24 hour computer lab the most. Some apartment doesn't have it for 24 hours. Also, it has indoor basketball court. I think the Reserve at Columbia is the only one that has in-door basketball court. The room of 4 bedroom style was quite small but it's not a big deal. I had a contract with school, Columbia College so it was expensive than the price that Reserve offers. If I had the contract with the Reserve management it would be much fairer.
The Reserve at Columbia is a great place to live. It is so close to campus and the amenities are really nice. The computer lab, gym, and pool is so very well kept. The staff is very friendly and helpful too! The only problem lately is that the key cards have trouble working sometimes, so as long as you can deal with that, it's great!
I’ve lived here for about 2 years now, and there are definitely pros and cons to the complex. The parking is great, shuttle is awesome, my building is quiet, the internet has always been reliable for me (I have never had issues like others have), the staff and maintenance guys are also very nice. However, the water pressure in the shower is bad, I don’t think the apartment is efficient so it is pretty expensive in utility bills, communication isn’t awesome (have begun to feel bothersome toward the end of my lease here), and ... read more
Nice amenities like gym and a reasonably well-sized pool, plus a shuttle service that even operates on the weekend. However, internet connection is unpredictable. Also several of the channels listed on the TV guide, including HBO, do not work. The key card system is often inefficient, as it sometimes takes 3-5 attempts before the door will unlock. Also, the model unit looks a little nicer than the actual units will end up being. But overall a nice, affordable place to live, with some caveats.
One of my favorite things is the printing lab. It is great to be able to print readings and assignments without having to worry about extra costs on your budget. Also, the shuttle service hours are great!
Staff is really nice, they are always willing to help out and are very accommodating for pets. My cat loves it here!
It is a place with nice furniture, pet friendly, nice surprises for the residents and you feel security.
