Set in a restored early 20th Century meatpacking warehouse, the restaurant carries on the North Carolina barbecue tradition by serving full-hog, pit-cooked pork, and other barbecue essentials. But The Pit is more than a generic barbecue restaurant: it combines the generous portions of classic meat-loving joints with some surprises. The pork is free-range, and guests can enjoy barbecued tofu, wines, cocktails, and a comprehensive list of bourbons.

We are from out of town so found this place on Yelp. Food and service was good considering how busy they were.
The best baby back ribs I've ever had....forgotten that I could eat as much as I did 😂
Great flavor BBQ, something different for these Florida tourists! Pumpkin cornbread is amazing!! Allison was awesome which was the icing on the cake (or the maple butter on the cornbread?)

Ordered a double combo of BBQ and Brisket. Brisket was 40% fat. Server gave us 2 leans strips to go for our inconvenience. Service was good but a little slow at lunch time which is understandable.
Very much okay. the presentation of the food needs a lot of work. Bar B Q had a good smiley taste but was bland.
The spaghetti was amazing!!! Must be requested but highly recommended!
