I am so disappointed in what I have heard and experienced in Home Depots this year. Our Veterans are precious assets and should be honored.
After reading the story and how much disrespect the store manager towards veterans I'm done with HD Lowe's with get my business and I'll be sure to send this out to everyone I know in Chicago area and keep spreading this all over for people to see that HD don't care about veterans
The outcry even made it to Kansas City. Shameful that there is no respect for our veterans. Guess that is why we prefer Menards.

I was a faithful Home Depot customer. That has changed as of tonight. I'm also a disabled Veteran who served combat tours. If the gentleman had military ID then he qualified per your policy. Terrible choice in management Home Depot, and worse job of not doing something about it.
Your manager needs to be fired you do not treat veterans that way. If the policy had changed give him the reason why and not act like a fool doing it . I Will stick to LOWES because they know how to treat the men and women who have fought for this country and your right to be a dickhead!!!!!
