GET A NEW MANAGER........YOURS IS SUPER RUDE. ANYONE THAT DOES'T HAVE RESPECT FOR OUR VETERANS AND WON'T GIVE THEM THEIR DISCOUNT WHEN THEY DESERVE IT NEEDS A WAKE UP CALL. NOT ONLY RUDE TO HIM, BUT PEOPLE IN GENERAL.

This is a much different corporation that I used to work for. Crapping on Vets just because you feel like it. Think now of all the customers lost across the nation. Lowes gladly gives us Vets a nice discount. Until corporate steps out against this manager, fires him, and changes/ clarifies corporate policy. I will do business elsewhere.
Disrespecting any Veteran is not acceptable! If this is a Home Depot rule then I am done with all Home Depots. I have a Veteran friend who has done all his shopping at Home Depot in the past and I am sure that if our local one is doing the same thing then many of us will be done with them too. Then to make it worse, let a manager speak to not just an elder but a veteran the way he did.
