went in to make and exchange on a light bulb that we purchased in Lakewood NY. was told they didn't sell it we didn't get from there. seems if old merchandise that it should be in your system yet. these big box stores are not about customer service. don't have much choice any more they have run everyone out of business and seems like they don't have what you are looking for anymore
I purchased a new commode, had to buy online because don’t carry in stock. Forced to pay a delivery fee since having their contractor install, wouldn’t let me pick it up. Web site said they’d call 30 minutes before delivery, never did. Order said would be contacted after delivery to set up installation. A month later commode is still in boxes. If you plan to buy something online from Home Depot, I suggest you don’t. That is unless you don’t need the item anytime soon. It take them 2 weeks to get an item shipped from another HD that’s only 40 miles away. That is of course, if they don’t screw up your order, which then they tend to play the blame game between the store and on-line folks. Worst place ever! I am in collections for a window order that was cancelled. They took my money and when the bank cancelled the check because of the situation, they sent me to collections! They will do absolutely nothing to help resolve the situation! Will never shop there again!
Do not order appliances with Home Depot. We have been waiting 4 months for delivery of our Refrigerator Freezer, but got a call today saying it won't be delivered for another month.
worst customer service ...after multiple calls to the store about the issues with my freezer and warranty and No one returns your call. I ended up canceling everything and went to Lowes
Do not use them for flooring absolutely horrible scheduling. We moved all the furniture out of the rooms and they didn't even call to say they weren't coming. waited from 7am until 4 pm. Now it will be another three days and did they offer to move beds back into the rooms. NO. We are older and had help with the furniture. Now we have furniture everywhere with pathways that make it hard to get around.
Bought a new garage door opener and paid for install. Was told I would be contacted in 24-48 hrs by an installer. That was Sunday, it is now Wednesday and still nothing. Called store and the told me they called and left a message with installer and to wait a few more days. Signage above the door owner we bought stated $87 install for new opener.
