I cannot believe you give the employee the right to discriminate between who is and isn't in the Military. If some elderly gentlemen asked for a military discount it is not your employees job to determine whether they qualify for it or not. The fact is your employee basically denied an elderly veteran. Whoever the manager is they need to be taken down a few levels so he can learn your policies better. I just saw the Facebook post about the veteran being disrespectfully & unkindly denied his rightful military discount. If this is true...the horrid behavior to this veteran is deplorable & abhorrent. My 3 sons currently have devoted their lives to the military, risking their own safety in many missions & even training, that would, most likely, make this current manager urinate & possibly defecate in his pants.
