OMG Home Depot you better make this right or you will lose another shopper! That man is a veteran and he is the reason you are a business! How could you fire a person let alone a vet facing surgery? So you don't want to pay his short term/long term disability do you? To fire a veteran who worked for you 5 years because he didn't write up his coworkers is a bogus excuse for not wanting to pay out benefits he earned and it is heinous on your part. Even though I dont live in St. Petersburg, I will not step in to another Home Depot anywhere. I hope many others follow suit and boycott you. There are local hardware stores, other box companies that carry your same products. Shame on you.

Any company that would do to a United States Veteran what you did to Mr. Roy Hall is not a company I would want to do business with EVER at any location!! For you to fire him thirty days prior to his surgery is beyond unethical! I am 69 years old and I've been around long enough to know greed when I see it! You post a picture of a veteran so proudly on your page after having fired a loyal veteran who not only fought to give you the freedom to live but served you for 5 years. To add insult to injury...you did so right before his surgery which he reported. And used some LAME reason (failing to write up employees) lol seriously...we see right through this tactic to avoid pay out of benefits. SHAME ON YOU SHAME ON YOU. Ordered cabinets today. Barbara Powell was wonderful!! Our plans were not easy and she handled it like a pro. Great experience
