Absolutely horrible horrible customer service. I waited 30 minutes to have mulch loaded on my truck. Have the cashier call for help three times then requested a manager. The manager said that that was unacceptable called for help and then walked away. After waiting another five minutes I decided to go inside return my mulch and drive over to Lowe’s and pick up mulch Where they will gladly load it for you. This store fired a veteran because he needed surgery. Google for full story. SHAME ON HOME DEPOT!!!!
Very disappointed when I reviewed the clip on the veteran employee that was terminated 30 days prior to surgery. Understanding there are two sides to every story, I would hope for your sake that you have documented verbal and written warnings given for his dismissal. If not, the lawyers will be having a field day with your group. This is very disturbing.
How can you let an employee go knowing full well he had followed all of your guidelines for leave for a badly needed surgical procedure. I, for one, will not be shopping at Home Depot until this man is rehired. Shame on you Home Depot. Ms. Lou Parsons Tamarac, FL
