From its not-so-humble beginnings as the home of Carl Hilmer Guenther in 1860, it has been restored into one of the more unique dining experiences in the city. The breakfast menu (served all day) offers Southern Sweet Cream Waffles and breakfast tacos, among other items. The food and the strawberry lemonade is amazing .... the waitress was rude but would still come back
Service and food was excellent. You have to try the biscuits with gravy. I do not like them anywhere but these were amazing.

Impatient people stay clear or get there before 8:30. We enjoyed the grounds and the surrounding neighborhood was nice to walk off the breakfast.
