From its not-so-humble beginnings as the home of Carl Hilmer Guenther in 1860, it has been restored into one of the more unique dining experiences in the city. The breakfast menu (served all day) offers Southern Sweet Cream Waffles and breakfast tacos, among other items. Our server was exceptional great. Food was amazing. Great experience. Highly recommend this place!!!!!!
We ate brunch here today. Service was fast and friendly, reasonably priced, and the food tasted great. Sweet cream waffles were the bomb. My only qualm was the hour and fifteen minute wait, but that's to be expected at 11am.
Food was excellent. Our server was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

The best breakfast I have had in San Antonio! The place was beautiful and the service staff was so friendly. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in town.
