About this business

The Guenther House makes its home in an elegant historic mansion on the property of Pioneer Flour Mills in the historic King William area. From its not-so-humble beginnings as the home of Carl Hilmer Guenther in 1860, it has been restored into one of the more unique dining experiences in the city. The breakfast menu (served all day) offers Southern Sweet Cream Waffles and breakfast tacos, among other items. At lunch, choose from such entries as Champagne Chicken Enchiladas and Pioneer Taco Salad.

I love the Guenther House! Wonderful historic place. Good food, excellent service, and comfortable atmosphere. Be sure to check out inside of House/museum and especially the gift shop.

Beautiful place to visit. The weather was fabulous so we had brunch outside on the patio. Have their special coffee. It's delicious. Very friendly waiter Anne reasonable prices. Our hotel shuttle recommended this to us and we were very happy he did. You can cross the street and walk along the river as well.

Well worth the wait! The atmosphere is awesome! The sweet cream waffles are the best! Yesterday was a little windy outside so the complimentary coffee was great! We will return soon
