From its not-so-humble beginnings as the home of Carl Hilmer Guenther in 1860, it has been restored into one of the more unique dining experiences in the city. Amazing waffles, maple syrup, blackberry jam, and atmosphere
Nice place, good food, so much history... You must get there early or you will have to wait for sitting, this is a very popular place
Delicious biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, sausage & bacon, and great coffee to wash it down. Service was fantastic. All in all a great venue for our foster care agency brunch.
The waffles are consistently amazing! Nice if you can find a table outside when the weather is pleasant BUT expect to wait as this is a popular spot!
We celebrated my mom's birthday at the Guenther House....the atmosphere was fantastic!!..the service was great and the champagne enchiladas were deli�... They surprised my mom with a special dessert...peach pastry!!..Great place to celebrate�

Immaculate property. Expect a long wait to get seated but a great experience. Definitely try if in San Antonio. Riverwalk is across the street as well as King Williams street. Be sure to check out both of those too.
Never disappointed when we visit The Guenther House! Always excellent service and amazing food. May even go back today :)
Visiting from Chicago and we were there celebrating my son's birthday over breakfast. This place was fantastic! The service was great and the food even better. Everything tasted fresh. Learning about the history of Gunther House and being able to check out the rooms was bonus. We will definitely return the next time we are in town. ��
