The Great Lost Bear has become a Portland institution since opening in 1979. The "Bear" is located about two miles from Portland's touristy Old Port but well worth the journey across town to the Mysterious Woodford's Area. The Great Lost Bear features an enormous eclectic menu with something for everyone: from hearty, spicy junk food to a large vegetarian selection, from steaks, salads and All American Burgers to award winning, wicked gooey desserts... all served in an entertaining atmosphere.

One of us had a chicken club, and one of us had steak sandwich, no complaints from either of us. Delicious food good friendly service

We had a Great time & enjoyed the ambience and the food taste Amazing!!! We will be back!!! We had Spanikopita, cheesy Mac, teriyaki mushroom for apps. Had steak and cheese , one-eyed burger, cheddar bacon burger, all came with Fries ...Great Food all Around!!! Our server was very attentive!!!

Great service, and I mean great. Top-notch beer list and the teriyaki grilled mushrooms are delicious. Inferno wings, Mac and cheese and jalapeno poppers all also great.
Very disappointed to see open till 1130 but doors locked at 11.
Always good, fun and great food. Plenty of local brews and a very diverse menu.
Awesome selection of beers, especially those on tap. Good food and fast friendly service. Easy to find.
