I purchased a ********** gas fireplace insert from The Chimney Chap in 2018. Scott did my initial assessment. He did a great job and provided several options for my application. I ended up purchasing a floor model at significant savings. John did a great job on the install. During the first season, the blower quit. This is our 2nd time in a couple of years we have had Chimney Chap come to give our gas fireplace a routine tune up. Today Paul came to do our service. He arrived on time based on our appointment window and was professional and friendly. He explained what he was going to do and answered all the questions we had. These guys are really great to work with. Our home presented to surprising challenges that were not apparent at first. But The Chimney Chap methodically and professionally worked through each on a job that turned out to be much more complex than anticipated. In the end, the bill was reasonable and I am completely satisfied.

Prompt, reasonable, professional, cleaned up after work, respectful of property, good explanation of work performed. Have not yet used the fireplace and wood burning stove for the season, and will modify review if problems.

Everyone i dealt with at Chimney Chap was very professional & easy to work with , from the beginning assessment & quote ,to the final clean up ....work done seems excellent & Jim was very pleasant ( & efficient and knowledgeable as well, even in dealing with my chimney that is more than 250 years old : ). Everyone i dealt with in the office got back to me when promised & made a difficult situation (with no heat & water ) much better

I’ve had Chimney Chaps at my home twice. Once for a sweep and inspection and then a return for repairs. The young men were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

This is my third time using Chimney Chap in Hanson, MA. I've returned to them because of their honesty and great service. This time I had Kris who did my chimney cleaning and inspection. I was feeling anxious to have someone in my home during the pandemic. When I asked if he would be wearing a mask he said of course and was so polite about it that he put my mind at ease. The company has supplied masks with their company name on it which told me that safety is important to them. Kris did an excellent job cleaning the chimney ... read more

Kris was very nice he explained everything his was doing and why. He then told me in detail what was wrong and what our repair options where. I received a detailed report the said day via email and then a detailed invoice of what the repairs would cost.
