Excellent service and work. Would highly recommend them. Very happy.
Company was very helpful in getting a gas stove installed. My only complaint is they don't have a plumber on staff to hook the stove to the gas lines.
If I could give no stars...or negative stars, I would. This company has some of the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. I am never ever giving them my business and I would advice that you beware. My husband and I just built a brand new house. We went to South Shore Fireplace to get a pellet stove for our new home. I contacted South Shore Fireplace regarding an inspection of my chimney, estimate to repair and replace if necessary as well as an estimate for a gas insert. The appointment was set for 5/30/17 at 8am and I was advised there was a cost of $150 for the estimate to which I agreed. On 5/30/17, a very nice man from The Chimney Chap (part of the same company I guess) arrived and did what appeared to be a very thorough review of everything inside and out taking many pictures. I had called this customer and emailed him on two different occasions to discuss the repairs of the chimney. The chimney is in such poor condition and I wanted to discuss what the best solution would be as well as the cost in everything, especially because he also wanted to install an insert. I purchased and had a fire place insert pellet stove installed. The purchase and installation date were quick. The workers showed up early, had all the tools and knowledge required. They showed me install pictures when they were done. They did a great job!
