I called and was able to get an appointment 3 business days later. ********** was the technician who did the work. He was very polite and professional. Our chimney hadnt been swept in 3+ years and **** said it was pretty dirty, but that once cleaned, it was in great working order! He recommended another annual cleaning next year to see what kind of build up we get and then go from there. Very positive experience working with The Chimney Chap.

If you need your chimney serviced, Chimney Chap is the company to call. They helped me out of a very bad situation in which I was scammed (I had a leaking chimney). There is a lot more to my story relative to what the scammers did but it is too long to post here. I searched for another company to try and fix what they had done so I reached out to Chimney Chap and ***** was my first contact. She really went above and beyond. The Technicians were fantastic from chimney sweeping, 2 gas stove inserts, masonry work and just piece of mind - this company excels! The office personally were very knowledgeable and helpful to find the 'right'fit for our space! They contacted us before we ever had to contact them for our stove that was on back order - you can't go wrong with a family business like this!

The team replaced the flu damper mechanism and the hood at the top of our chimney, as well as cleaning, inspecting and weatherproofing the brick chimney. They were very efficient, very thorough and careful with the plantings in the area around the chimney. I also inspected the inside of the chimney, including the fireplace area, inside our house, and found some structural weakness, which we will also have repaired. They listened to the problem i had. The inspection done by **** was very thorough. He explained everything to me in ****** terms. ****** and ******* performed the work and they were excellent. They both were very informative. Very efficient and clean. They left the area cleaner than when they arrived. Will definitely be usong them again.

***** our pellet stove Tech was awesome. He did a quick and efficient diagnosis of a pellet stove problem and fixed the issue. Definitely recommend to use and plan on having them cleaning and inspecting the pellet stove next fall.

************ showed up to do a cleaning and level 1 inspection of the fireplace.He didnt need to clean it, so I was charged only for the level 1 inspection. He also noticed some deterioration in the cement around a flue pipe and recaulked it. Very pleasant and explained in depth his estimate of what needed to be done with the outside chimney deterioration.**********

We had Chimney Chap inspect and repair our gas fireplace which was installed 18 years ago. Technicians **** and ****** were great. They were thorough and knowledgeable about our unit and made the necessary repairs to get many more years of use. They also cleaned everything out and it looks and runs like new. My husband said to mention that they were "top notch". It was also a pleasure to deal with ****** when scheduling the appointment and asking for info. I highly recommend this family-run company for service.
