I had my pellet stove serviced 9/9/24 by ******* and **** , my husband and I were so happy with this ************************* ******* and **** took the whole stove apart to clean and were very methodical and knowledgeable about my stove.. My husband also told ******* that when the stove shuts down we get a vibration on the Custom Backing Plate on the stove which makes a lot of noise in the process of shutting down., With that information ******* knew just how to fix the problem by adding some additional screws to the back P... read more

I recently had my chimney serviced and a gas log installed by Chimney Chaps/South Shore Fireplace. They were very knowledgeable and professional. They handled both jobs expeditiously and completely. ************ *************, We recently hired Chimney Chaps to repair our failed **** flues with stainless linings ********* the men ran into some "dead ends" which made the job go longer than intended . without going into all the details all; can say that they took care of everything to the 110%. I am a retired *********/builder so i" Know the trades". On a scale of 1-10 I give them a 12! So go to chimney Chaps for your chimney repairs. I cant help but saying going to a one piece stainless liner improved my draw immensely

We were told by our oil company that the damper on the furnace wasnt working at 100%. We made a call to Chimney Chaps to have an inspection. ************ came out to do the work. He knew it needed a thorough cleaning. Once he completed that, he informed my husband the liner and some of the tiles needed to be replaced. **** left an estimate and we called to make an appointment for the repairs. I called and was able to get an appointment 3 business days later. ********** was the technician who did the work. He was very polite and professional. Our chimney hadnt been swept in 3+ years and **** said it was pretty dirty, but that once cleaned, it was in great working order! He recommended another annual cleaning next year to see what kind of build up we get and then go from there. Very positive experience working with The Chimney Chap.

If you need your chimney serviced, Chimney Chap is the company to call. They helped me out of a very bad situation in which I was scammed (I had a leaking chimney). There is a lot more to my story relative to what the scammers did but it is too long to post here. I searched for another company to try and fix what they had done so I reached out to Chimney Chap and ***** was my first contact. She really went above and beyond. The Technicians were fantastic from chimney sweeping, 2 gas stove inserts, masonry work and just piece of mind - this company excels! The office personally were very knowledgeable and helpful to find the 'right'fit for our space! They contacted us before we ever had to contact them for our stove that was on back order - you can't go wrong with a family business like this!
