I placed an order. I got someone else's order. When I tried to call and email to get the order straightened out, nobody would answer. When I finally got through, was told it was past the time frame to get the issue fixed and I should call my financial institution for a refund when it was clearly their mistake.
My package was stolen and they refuse to refund the purchase. I live on limited income as a disabled person and don't drive due to my disability, so I normally order online. Do not purchase from Children's Place.
I ordered a Christmas outfit for my one year old daughter on December 12th and was promised guaranteed delivery by Christmas. I filed an online claim on Sunday, December 20th and unfortunately never received a response. When my package still didn't arrive on Wednesday, December 23rd, I called Children's Place. They were unable to offer any assistance other than " we need to wait and see if the package arrives by Christmas" and "we aren't sure if it'll be there or not". My experience is the same as all the others - an order that was "shipped" but never arrived. Tracking information is never updated beyond the initial packaging label being created. The online portion of this business needs to be investigated. Based on the complaints here and all over social media, there is some clear fraud and avoidance going on. Their phone line never works. I ordered Christmas pajamas for the first time for my family and the packsge is lost. I can't get in touch with customer serive at all and usps won't help. Guess I'm just out of my money. This is ridiculous. Christmas pictures canceled with no remorse from childrens place.
Be cautious when placing online orders from The Children's Place. I had placed an order a couple years ago, it was a complete nightmare! Shipping was WAY overdue, I had to fight with them to get a refund on my order that never came. I recently decided to give them another chance and I 100% regret my decision. I would give a 0 if it allowed me to. I placed an order on October 14th for my entire family to get matching Christmas pjs. They sent out 1 of the 5 items. I called customer service to see where the other order is and they couldnt provide me with an answer. They are based out of Columbia apparently. I ordered from The Children's Place three weeks ago. I finally received a package but it was a bag with my name that had another person's order in it. It included the "receipt" or whatever you want to call it which includes that person's name and FULL address. I call, explained the situation and pointed out that if I have someone else's order with full name and address, that means they have also sent MY full name an address to another person. I ordered my niece several items and realized that the address was wrong. I called several times and couldn't get in through to any one and emailed several times. Also I contacted the fb page and still did not receive any customer service. Had to stop payment on my order.
