The bartender was not attentive, there was a sewage smell that they were aware of...it was worse when their happy hour "slurpee machine" was blowing air. They moved us to a table only to find that the bartender had never put in our food order, so we paid the bill and left. I'd been there one other time and it was just ok.
This place is the perfect neighborhood restaurant/Bar. The Best oysters in Los Gatos. I recommend Hammersley oysters and grassy bar oysters . They are so flavorful. Also the service is great. Love the Bartenders , Jeremy makes some unbelievably good cocktails � �
Had a very nice experience at The Bywater. A friend and I met for a relaxed lunch, and were very happy. The wait staff was friendly and prompt. Our food arrived as ordered. Presentation was very clean. I ordered a cocktail, which seemed to take quite a while, but it was delicious. Plates were swiftly removed when we showed signs of being finished. We went there 4 times in 7 days. That says it all.
It was our 1st time there (group of 5), & we all LOVED it! The food was delicious & creative, the service was very attentive, we were very pleased with the ambience as well! Definitely one of the favorite places in LG to hang out at!
