There is construction work going on in front of my property they cut my cable internet with a saw accidentally. I keep calling Telstra and they tell me to check the outage page. I can't seem to make them understand that the cable has been severed. It needs to be fixed and they won't book me in for a technician. No amount of checking that outage page will reconnect my severed cable.

A few young gung ho boys were assigned the job of installing NBN to Darling point. The moment they opened up the pit The phone lines in surrounding buildings were cut off. I approached the boys and of course they denied any responsibility. I have had a TPG technician come out to confirm the Telstra line leaving the building is the issue. A Telstra technician apparently came to the building on the fourth of this month and provided a report stating that the issue was resolved. Best mobile network? Yeah right... at Townhall with full 4G bar and no internet. Connection drops at Redfern, Burwood, Strathfield, Lodcombe and Parramatta train stations. It's not like these stations are dead, or extremely busy and yet my Telstra connection drops. Went to Telstra store on Sunday to try and get more data (Optus offers 20GB on the same $100 or so plan). Was told by the rep that Telstra doesn't price match cause they don't have to... it was all I could do to not laugh at the poor guy. 12 nonths to go on my con... read more

Absolutely horrific experience. Firstly, it all started with sub standard service. Since then, I have tried to exit out, and have had a nightmare of a time, which has culminated in Telstra sending me over to a Deb Collector called Impact, even though I owed Telstra no further monies. I have no guarantee that this third party debt collector will not add a credit default to my name, even though I did not owe anything to Telstra. Telstra should get there call centre back to Australia cos there call centre in Asia is the worst team you can speak to . Signed up with Telstra 3 and half weeks ago and we have just received our modem ,,, now Telstra advises us that there is 4 day before our internet can be up and running. Worst service provider in Australia. Fuck this company off from Australia.
