On the 21st of April my Adsl Modem was installed by a telstra technician. He said the signal would come on the modem in a few hours. It has been 3 weeks today and telstra still has done nothing. Since the day the technician came i have been receiving wrong numbers only to realise that my number had suddenly changed. It belonged to someone else. When they complained telstra gave them their number back but my phone line has been dead since 3 rd of May. I have spoken to telstra level 2 broadband testing team so many times. But ... read more

So I noticed from last week I had no Internet connection- I called Telstra NBN for assistance, to find out that someone in my apartment block had called another supplier- gave my address and automatically shut my internet off. 1) This is surely a security breach, how can anyone call a supplier and cut off an address- without the new supplier making checks. 2) I have called Telstra NBN 4 times since Monday. My son lives in chatswood and has waited since november to get a line for computer use....... Still waiting. ....no wonder he is struggling to forward assignments to uni. Has to spend money traveling to uni for no apparent reason other than we live like a third world country in regards to our telco.... Bad form telstra All because you cant find a spare line to give him... Shame shame shame

Telstra may have the best connection so far. However their customer service is not as good as its connection.. Called in and explained my question only to be given the answers that don't help at all. Worse still, the rep themselves are not even aware of the current ongoing promotions and tell me i could be viewing an outdated page (really? Is that how the rep help maintain a good image of the company?). Overall, spent almost an hour speaking to people who could not answer a simple question but keep giving me the wrong answer... read more

Telstra, how could you expect new clients whose on 24 months contract to pay one month in advance on their first bill? Do you know this hidden cost has caused such an inconvenience and extremely inappropriate? It's even pointless to try to call for a compliant for this. You know what? People already signed for a new contract and there's no way you need to get that advance payment for security. The worst thing is, after 24 months or more, no body will remember you already paid that one month in advance and let's say you wante... read more
