My partner who shares an account with me recently upgraded her plan. Not long after I started receiving text messages from telstra stating that i was now being charged $10 for every 1GB of data used as shared data was no longer available. I run a small business, work 7 days per week and I am regularly in areas where I can't just "pop over to the telstra store". I contacted Telstra via chat and was advised that if i upgraded my plan, then all $60 of extra data which was currently on the account would be removed. Unfortunately... read more

Worst customer service. Took them 6 months to finalise an account and still received a new bill after 3 months. They hang up after investigating the account for at least a hour.

Telstra employs cheap agents offshore who I have heard negative reports about: Selling our profiles to unknown fraudsters, refusing to meet our expectations, hard to understand, dishonest and disrespectful. Wether offshore or onshore the customer service standards stink like pig sties, the CEO Andrew Penn is a only there for his money, he will never listen to us or care, one grave mistake after another is what Andrew Penn will make and he is not worth the fat cat $millions Telstra pays him to rip us all off. Telstra services are the worst I have ever experienced in years. I have been trying to activate a new phone - 0484907803 for over 1 week and the phone itself doesn't work. The phone has been showing Chinese inscription symbols and words. A complete horror story. Its unbelievable! Telstra customer service agent D914078 promised to call me yesterday, but never called me.

DO NOT USE TELSTRA - they literally have cost me thousands of hours and dollars - you get passed from one person to the next I believe in the hopes that you will just give up... the worst company and service i have ever had ... do yourself a favour and RUN FAR AWAY from these jerks
