I called the Bereavement Team to advise Telstra my Dad had passed away and to have the land line account changed to be under my Mum’s name. They took the details and said that would be changed within forty eight hours. A week later it was still under Dad’s name so I rang them again only to be told ‘Oh that order didn’t go through because your Mothers photo ID hadn’t been supplied! Can someone please contact us to escalate an issue? On Monday we will contact the Telco Ombudsman to intervene and maybe someone from Telstra will assist. Just contacted their Facebook messenger service and went around in circles. No provision of a number I could call just that the same case manager will call and reopen the case or to call their main number. We already did that.
