Paid off my car loan a year in advance and 4 months later I still cannot get the Lien release letter as I was told I would . Customer service lies and will make up stories like we sent you the letter please hold for tracking and never come back , then when you call back the new person will say they dont know what was said and then its a big joke as you start over again . On 04-21-21 I was discriminated against at this bank by **** Taki& his manager. I came in with my cousin to assist him to open a business account. We are both busy and work full time job, however I managed to get off work early and he was able to do so as well, so we decided to go open the business account. This bank have blocked the account f whit out notification me reason a deposit coming from a business account they only accept a personal account deposits make sure befoure open a count to this bank
On 4/2/21, I received a text message from "TD Bank," asking if I was aware of or approved a nearly $500 charge at a ******* in ********. I've received these texts before, so nothing seemed out of the ordinary. I respond "No" per the text, and a moment later receive a call from the number that appears on the back of my debit card. They gave me the run around just to get help with online banking. They kept blocking my transactions making it hard for me to purchase anything and they are very inconsiderate. The representative actually hung up on me because i explained to her ive wasted 100 bucks on an **** for them to block my purchase and she kept saying I couldnt get help until the morning. Called in the morning just to be directed to go into a branch. By far the worst banking experience.
TD Bank *** *****, **. Rainy night out of gas went to grab money out of an *** bcuz the gas station card machine was down. Put my card in the *** the machine started making a bunch of weird noises and I guess ate and shredded my card. I called customer service and they told me sorry. I was left on the side of the road at 10p at night with my infant and no money no way to get money on sat night and banks are closed on sunday. TD Bank made a mistake with my account which cause major issues. I was told incorrect information all week via the reps on the phones. I went into the branch today and was talked to by the ** of the store named ********* who was rude and condescending. I also spoke with a rep ******* who was also rude and ignorant. TD bank has people working for them who shouldnt be in those positions regardless of education. ** should have workshops or classes on empathy, patience and how to speak to their customers.
I just need to vent about how awful this bank is. I don't advise traveling with TDBank because your card will be declined a lot and you'll get stuck in situations that are scary. In fact don't even open an account with them. This is coming from someone who has a credit card and debit card with them. Even going to an ATM to have cash on hand, you will get blocked. Although I paid off a vehicle FIVE YEARS AGO, TD Auto remains as a lienholder on my vehicle title. Despite having mailed a DMV Title Rlease Form to the TD ******************** I have yet to receive the form back in the mail after waiting a month. I discovered TD Auto remains on my vehicle's title when I attempted to sell my vehicle a month ago.
