TD Bank made a mistake with my account which cause major issues. I was told incorrect information all week via the reps on the phones. I went into the branch today and was talked to by the ** of the store named ********* who was rude and condescending. I also spoke with a rep ******* who was also rude and ignorant. TD bank has people working for them who shouldnt be in those positions regardless of education. ** should have workshops or classes on empathy, patience and how to speak to their customers.
I just need to vent about how awful this bank is. I don't advise traveling with TDBank because your card will be declined a lot and you'll get stuck in situations that are scary. In fact don't even open an account with them. This is coming from someone who has a credit card and debit card with them. Even going to an ATM to have cash on hand, you will get blocked. ***** Disaster- My family took a ***** loan out last year for some home improvements. We attempted to refinance our mortgage for our home and needed subordination on the ***** loan as well. Usually these things take roughly a week. TD Bank was quick to take our $225 dollars for the subordination paperwork fee, but have not spoken to us in over 40 days. worst bank ever. customer service is incompetent and unwilling to help. refuses to honor a promotion even after I their customer proved to be more competent at reading fine print than they were at writing it.
Bad customer service will not address error on their part hours on hold only reason I have this account because I bought a ******* phone with 0% interest, I have been in business for 50 years and have never encountered this kind of attitude service.

I got an offer in mail saying I could get $300 bonus after qualified direct deposit. So I did it and called ** to make sure I qualified. I called several times and was always told I just need to wait for the bonus to show up. I would give 0 star review if I could. This business is made up of a bunch of scam artist! You can only use banking info. No debit cards or anything! Then when you payment doesn't go through and they will stick charges $50+ charges on you! They should be ashamed of how they run things.
