Absolutely no interest to service existing clients. Have checking, savings and credit card with **. My balance in savings account has been substantial, as they would offer rate bump if you have a certain balance. But they lower the interest rate without telling you and you end up with same rate as any other bank. TD Bank is a complete joke! I called customer service to inquire about my balance being incorrect, and as I'm going through my statement with the rep, I noticed so many discrepancies in what I had on my end with what she had in her system, as far as my transactions. Horrible customer service and very rude treatment by the bank. I opened up a second checking account at ******* island branch and they froze my account when I had sent my payroll to this bank. They sent my direct deposit back to my employer and now my direct deposit is still messed up. **************** beats beats them around the block and back. I closed my credit card account with TD Bank in 2020. I thought that my business with them was completed. There was apparently a vendor I had not updated my credit card information with that charged the old TD Bank card. TD Bank readily accepted the charge, and notified me after the fact (2 months later) that I had a charge on the account. They waived the late fees and interest. *** been a customer for over 20 years. My account has been hacked several times and *** received new debit cards. This last time my account was hacked for $94.90 for some vitamins in ******* which I did not buy or purchase on line. I disputed the claim the investigators came back with a letter stating that they did not find fraud in this claim and was not giving me my money back. Im very upset with this situation. Due to this I am closing my account and will no longer do business with them. Very dissatisfied.
My husband has his identity stolen and the person opened an account in his name and fully opened the account with checks and everything. We filed a police report and fraud with the bank when we went in to close the account. A couple weeks later we got a statement about the account so it was never closed. My husband called and they assured him it would be closed this time! It wasnt! Now we are receiving more notices about more activity in this account! From customer service to ease of online banking this bank is straight up terrible.A business account with them means absolutely zero assistance when calling. Any change whatsoever means you have to go into a physical bank.
