I didn't even want to leave a star for TD Bank because they aren't even worth it, but had to to send in review. Their fraud protection service is the worst of any bank I ever encountered. My sons bank acct was recently hacked into to the tune of $3500.00 and the bank denied the fraud over night without even reviewing all information supplied, including a police report. Worst bank I have encountered. We are in pandemic, I am fully aware of overdraft protection and I pay the fee gladly each time. Recently I have been struggling and over-drafted my bank by a couple dollars with a car **** unexpected which caused my memberships (two) monthly auto pay to hit next day causing three overdraft charges. Terrible. I have always paid my account online. I have paperless statements. I got locked out of my account (it had other issues as well) and tried for months to get through to someone. I was unable to make a payment because I had no statement, locked out of my account, and they had the wrong area code for me so my phone number was not recognized when I tried to pay on the phone. ****** ever answered when I called, for ******. Disappointed in this bank. I have nordictrack financing through TD Bank. They lowered my credit line because their payments take SO **** to go through that my bank rejected the payment, and that resulted in a $1000 decreases in credit. When reaching out to the bank customer service, they wouldnt increase it back up even though *** never missed a payment, and have always paid more than minimum. Really disappointed in this bank and I cant wait to pay off the balance and be done.
I had a very difficult time trying to receive the *** loan through ******* during the pandemic. In May 2020, I received a *** loan through *******, but due to the government urging the *** receivers to spend the money within 8 weeks, I had to return the money because there was no way I would be able to spend within that time period. Nobody knows. what there talking about on the mobile app. I always have issues with the bank app. They're *** eats my money amd spits out half of it and gets stuck. On October 27, 2020 around 10:15a.m., I was trying to conduct my business with a bank specialist named ********. He and his colleagues was giving me difficulties whiles' I was waiting to be served. Absolutely the worst I moved and thought maybe Ill stay with TD but **** no. Took me 3 months to try and dispute a charge over the phone faxed 4 papers to them 3x they never got it. I cant take a flight no one will help over the phone. I just want these accounts closed now and they still wont help me. ** gonna have to take a flight just to close these **** accounts. I would not suggest this bank at all. For it to be a pandemic I expect there online services to improve but there absolutely the worst
