I called into TD Bank customer service on 3/5/18 to inquire, and thats it, IF my card (credit or debit) was ever lost or stolen if they had the ability to just freeze the account information until it was found. I specifically stated numerous times the representative that I had knew where my cards were and I was not requesting this and did not want to have the card deactivated. TD Bank customer services are worse than all the banks in the world. Fist of all the customer service over the phone never answer the phone quickly. I was on hold for more than 1 hour and still did not get chance to talk with customer representative. I call at the branch and they also hopeless they do not even listing my question properly and they want me to stop by at the branch. They always have shortage in staff. I try to chat online but online chat also not available.
Absolutely the worst experience in a business in my life the general manager lied which cost me money but they are corporate so he can get away with it. Worst customer service of my life if I could I would take this bank to court. Horrible
Unfortunately, banking with TD America's most 'convenient' bank has been by far the worst banking experience of my life. I am a Canadian citizen and chose this bank because in Canada I bank with TD Canada (a phenomenal organization). TD Bank has changed their online banking interface and I've had no access via a web browser weeks now. Only their updated mobile app works now. Despite countless complaints directly to them this has still not been resolved.
This is the worst bank in the United States. TWO massive tech failures since I've been a customer, the last one has left me without online or app or phone access to my accounts for 3 weeks. They were additionally defrauding customers with their coin-counting machines at branches, and they have racist lending practices, turning down minority loan applications at 3x industry norm.
As I write this review I am forced to sit and listen to this obnoxious poorly recorded attempt at jazz since I've been currently on hold for 36 minutes! TD Bank has locked my online account so THEY COULD UPDATE THERE SYSTEM and for two weeks now I can not pay bills or check my account. I have called 3 times this week and can not get anyone on the line. I received 2 emails about "...Being patient" while this ridiculous process continues. I work for a temp service in Farmington with a payroll dept in Atlanta. Last week they did not deposit my check into my checking account causing $420 in overdrafts. I called the payroll dept and told me they will not reimburse me even though it was their fault. I called TD bank and after going back and forth, the retail manager in Hamden called to tell me they would refund my account for $200. I am so appreciative for her kindness. This bank is terrible!!! Two weeks ago before they transitioned their computer system (can't use that as an excuse), they allowed a check drawn on our account, to be cashed twice over a six plus month period. Something they told me that should not happen. Customer service would not fix this problem over the phone ( I was out of town at the time) I had to go to a physical branch.
