TD Bank is horrible. I have an HSA and have had nothing but problems with this company. They mess up so many things and then when I call they tell me they cannot help me and to go into a location. They are the most unhelpful customer service people I have ever experienced. You cannot get anything done without visiting in person. It is 2017, every other bank does everything online or on the phone.

The business online banking doesn't automatically deduct payments from my online account when issuing checks. Was an option 20years ago when I first started using online banking with a much smaller bank in the *******. TD is very outdated in this small but very important area. I stoped balancing my check book long ago when I started using online banking. You simply add all your venders and make payments online and they are automatically deducted. This only a review for business account not personal accounts

I am a representative of a small bank. TD bank holds a loan that my company is attempting to pay off, as we are handling the resale of the collateral. I have personally spent weeks attempting to get payoff and ownership information. My authorization letter has been sent numerous times; I have actually lost track. I have never been so frustrated and disgusted with service as I have with this bank.

Debit Card machines had supposedly been down for TWO WEEKS, when I came into the location to check for the last time after my phone bill and other payments linked to my lost card had not been made due to my inability to have my card replaced. When I asked the teller if the machine was working he told me to hold on while he asked, he then proceeded to ask the supervisor Marjorie and about 4 other employees if the machine was working and as he asked they began to laugh and smile making light of the issue. This is by far the worst bank I've had the pleasure of doing business with. I've made multiple large payments up to a year paid in advance. What to I get for being such a good and loyal customer? I get harassment and belittling they call quite often for "missing" a payment when I am paid far into future payments. Their business model is pathetic and their customer relations stinks. I would steer clear of this company unless you like torturing yourself.

I have literally been on hold with TD for a total of 45 minutes to try to resolve an ongoing issue with their BillPay product. This is my 4th call. First call I'm on hold for 8 minutes - I'm told that I've called the wrong number even though it's the number provided on my statement. I'm told to call another number. I call the second number, on hold for 10 minutes, told that I've pressed the wrong number on the prompt even though I specifically chose the number for small business, I'm transferred and help on hold for 33 minut... read more

Application was submitted for home equity line on Nov 11th. Initial application was approved right away. All requested documents were signed and e-mailed to ******** ********* on Nov 30th. I received an automated response that she would be out of office, which was a confirmation of e-mail received. Repeatedly made attempts to contact ******** ********* by phone and e-mail with absolutely no response within 12 days. After numerous consultation with bank personnel re: the rollover of IRA funds which had matured in a certificate of deposit, paperwork was completed to distribute $15,000 to a pension fund and $5000 to a fixed annuity insurance plan. The bank mismanaged the funds, sending all to the pension plan and failing to properly handle the $5000.
