Every single time I come here to speak with customer service they make me wait for hours and waste my whole day. Their staff is super slow and they lack customer service skills. Oh hi, I'm just sitting here with over $500 of fresh unauthorized transactions on my TD checking account. An hour later I can't get anyone at TD bank on the phone to dispute the transactions and close the debit card. Unbelievable.
On 11/29/2017 I walked into TD bank with my husband whom has been banking with TD over 6years. He wanted to add me to his account as we are married. I have been a customer since the 90's when it was ******** *****I recently applied for a *****. I own my home outright asked for a ***** 1/5 of the value of the home. First the loan processor could barely speak understandable English. Responding to anything took days. Kept asking for more and more documents. I have been a customer for over 6 years, and I dread when I have to call the number on the back of the card. They will lie to you, they will not actually help you, and when you call in asking why you never received the call, they will tell you that their are no notes on the account that I ever called. I have an account with TD Retail Card Services. The online payment system is confusing and designed to create late fees. I wanted to set up a monthly automatic payment of $100 but it would not let me do so. The system only allows you to set up automatic monthly payments for the minimum amount. You can only pay an amount other than the minimum as a one-time payment. I walked into the bank to make a saving deposit. I stated I did not have the account number. I offer my ATM card or my licenses. I filled out a saving deposit slip. The teller took it upon myself to rip up slip up and filled out a checking account slip. I was very shock when the assistance mgr shared that information. This is very bad for business!!!
Would never recommend. I felt cheated on my mortgage, dealt with rude people, two checking deposits "lost" until I complained, IRA in limbo (no interest) for three weeks getting transferred, and I recently found out that I was getting charged $14/month to park some money in savings. I was told that I had the wrong relationship with the bank, no offer was made to refund, and two secure e-mail inquiries about this were not answered. I haven't dealt with this bank till lately I had applied for HE loan. These guys wasted my 5 weeks of my time and now I am in risk of losing my Project Manager and time. I have 800+ credit score, good status for loan payments such. They wanted to lower loan value without base. Also, when I tried to add my wife to the loan to increase the loan amount, they wanted to submit a new application with higher interest rate.
