They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They send you on a goose chase to figure out what THEY messed up. I closed an account and years later was told i have an outstanding balance.... on a checking account. They never closed the account on their end, continued to charge me overdraft fees until it added up and I got a letter in the mail saying if I don’t pay it, it will affect me ever opening an account in the future. This is the worst Bank ever . I have a payment dispute which I am positive is their fault. I have been on hold now for 35 minutes waiting to speak with customer service . I WILL NEVER EVER DO ANY FUTURE BUSINESS WITH THIS HORRIBLE BANK . BEWARE BEFORE YOU OPEN AN ACCOUNT OR LOAN !!! THIS BANK IS A COMPLETE RIP OFF . I have a personal account with TD Bank. They always delay posting charges to my account waiting until balance gets low and then they post them in bulk hoping they can charge overdraft fee. During the COVIT 19 crisis payments overleapt for few hours until I balanced the account. They heat me with overdraft fees anyway. When I called to speak about those charges I waited 1 hour and 15 minutes on the phone to get to some person in foreign country I could not understand. The guy hang up on me and lock my account. On 4/3/2020, I was declined service at the Bowie MD branch even though I presented my valid driver license. After 20 minutes of waiting, I offered to write a HELOC check for the withdrawal, but was told I needed to produce my passport to make a withdrawal. Then, I was denied a withdrawal of ANY amount by the head teller (Nakita D*******) and the assistant manager (Birane M****). During the middle of the pandemic this credit card company cancelled my credit card with a balance on it. I have never been late and always paid more than the minimum. I used the card for a promotion and was still within the promotion time frame. I didn't even receive a letter to let me know what their intentions were. I had to find out through a credit report alert that I received. I will never do business with TD Bank or any of its affiliates ever again.

TD Ameritrade has a bad delay on the Think Or Swim platform that made me lost money on a trade and they did not want to reimburse me because i canceled the trade 4 mins later, i told them i did not know i was even in the trade, i canceled it but 30 seconds later it showed it executed when i was not there, they told me they cant reimburse me because i canceled 4 minuets later. We had multiple business accounts with these guys. God knows it was the worst bank ever. Month over month they would put our credit and debit cards on hold because our advertising companies would debit the account and they continued to say it was fraud. Month over month we would have to call in and confirm it wasn't so they would release the funds. 9 months into that happening they decided that they would put all our business accounts on hold status without any notice or explanation. THIS BANK IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!! The absolute worst customer service I have ever seen or heard of. My wife and I were trying to purchase a car and the dealership messed up our pre-approved loan draft. We were instructed by our lender to contact the bank for the dealership (TD Bank) about getting the original check back. My wife was able to contact them over the phone, but the individual she spoke with was incompetent to say the least. I have a ****** Credit Card Thru TD Bank which I just noticed not a month or 2 ago I've been getting charged late fees for more than a year if not longer when I made the payment by the due date. I'm sorry but I refuse to continue to pay my bill with a company this greedy for funds. Report me all you like to the Credit Reporting agency but what your doing to consumers without them knowing is absolutely illegal.
